24th December 2007

Good morning everyone,

Happy Christmas eve, Mummy and Daddy told me that because I have been a very good girl, Father Christmas will be coming to my house tonight to leave some presents for me to open tomorrow morning. I can't wait!!!

I spent the last few days in hospital with a viral infection but I am getting better now. I still have a little cough but it's going.

I am going to Nanny Dee's tonight for an organic Christmas eve party. I hope am feeling well for it. I have started my tablets again but this time I have to have 22 tablets everyday, so I have 11 in the morning and 11 in the evening but am a big girl and take them with no problems.

I went to see Cinderella in Manchester last Tuesday and it was really funny and I laughed from start to finish.

I will update my diary again tomorrow morning before I go to Nanny Ang's for my organic Christmas dinner!

Hello everyone,

Am tube free! For almost 12 months I had a tube sticking out of my chest but now it has gone. I went to sleep in the hospital and when I woke up, it had gone! I wanted to go and find it but Daddy said it has gone forever!!!! I was only in hospital for the day and Mummy and Daddy said I have been a big brave girl and Father Christmas will be bringing me lots of toys!

I went for a check up today with my doctor, he said he was really pleased with the way am handling this treatment and am putting on good weight and am in excellent condition! That's what I like to hear from him :D

I just finished round 3 of Roaccutane (20 tablets everyday) and only have a little dry skin, Mummy keeps putting JASON'S ORGANIC CREAM (Vit E) on me and it works really well as some children have to stop treatment because their skin gets really sore!

Thank you for all the Christmas cards, I have loads, even more than Mummy, Daddy, Nanny and Grandad put together. I stick them up on the wall and it makes the room look very nice so thank you again.

Am going for tea now

I won The Child Of Courage Award!!!

Hello everyone,

As you can see from above, I won the Child Of Courage Award but I accept the award for every single child that has/is fighting cancer! We are all superhero's!!!! Also, all the nursing staff and my doctor from my oncology ward won the unsung hero's award. They really are Angels without wings and do a brilliant job every single day of the year!

Today am back in hospital for a little operation to remove my central line, it's like am losing part of my body. I have had it in for over 12 months and it's what the doctors use to put all the chemo into my body so I don't have to have needles everyday. I should be back home tonight!

Am getting ready for Father Christmas coming. I seen him on Sunday, I went to Connah Brooms house and had a amazing day, it even snowed! Thank you to Connah's Nan for putting so much hard work into making it a great day, even with the weather against you, you still managed to pull it off! THANK YOU!

Mummy and Daddy have started to put the lights up for Christmas and the house is looking like a big Christmas grotto!

Am still very well and having my 20 tablets everyday. Am still eating all good cancer fighting organic food, which I will do for the rest of my life but most of all am really enjoying life. I get up everyday and sing/shout until Daddy wakes up and than I have fun for the rest of the day, everyday!

Love Emma

PS

Dad said he will be putting all the photos for my birthday online very soon!
