26th February 2008

Sorry for not updating my diary for so long but I have been having so much fun fun fun! Since my last update I have done so much.

I'm a chef! Yes I have been cooking. I stayed at Nanny Dee's and we made organic cakes for daddy and I have made organic pizza with Mummy and Daddy, putting all my own fresh organic toppings on them, they tasted yummy! I have my own apron, rolling pin and all the things I need to cook. Nanny Dee bought me them so every time I go to Nanny Dee's I cook.

I'm a dancer! When I go to Nanny Ang's I dance around the living room with Auntie Heather & Taylor, I even put on a dance show for Nanny Ang to watch and when I finish, I take a big bow and everyone claps. I love dancing.

I'm learning new words to say everyday and I have a teacher come out once a week to help me develop my speech. I can also count to 10!!! I get everyone to count with me and I count all the cars on the road.

I'm was on MTV One on Sunday night (also repeated every night this week at 9pm and 10pm depending what night it is ;) ) When I received The Child Of Courage Award from Kerry Katona, she was being filmed for her documentary so they asked Mummy and Daddy if they could show the film on MTV, they agreed but they should of just asked me!

I'm doing really well potty training and I go to the "big girls toilet" everyday now, I finish Round 6 of my tablets this Friday, I am really good at taking the tablets now, I can swallow 7 at a time!!!! Mummy and Daddy put JASON'S organic face cream on my face everyday to stop my skin drying out and it really helps so email Daddy if you want to know the name and where to get it from.

I went to see my doctor at Alder Hey yesterday, he said I was doing brilliant and looked really well and does not want to see me until June so that is good news.

I'm going now, I'm going to read my book and watch some TV then I'm going for a walk on the sand (beach) with Mummy and Daddy.

Love Emma

PS,
Don't forget it's Mummy's day on Sunday and me and Daddy are taking Mummy out somewhere but don't tell her!

1st February 2008

Am home, safe, and most of all CANCER FREE! After having all the tests & scans (Bone Marrow, MIBG, CT, Urine and Blood Tests) I am now cancer free. These test where different to the ones in the UK, they seemed more advance and more done to try and find cancer in my body, In the UK they only test the bone marrow in 2 places, at MSKCC they tested 4 different places, all came back negative. The CT scan, I needed to drink a contrast drink before I had it, it makes the picture more clear and in depth. That came back all clear! and most of all the doctor said that my MIBG scan was really good and clear, which was amazing as back in October there was some up take that looked like progressive disease, however a CT showed nothing so it was great to see the pelvis area so clear.

So after 2 weeks of being poked with needles and getting put to sleep, am now home and very healthy, the doctors in New York want me to go back in 3 months time for the same test again as they believe that if the nastyblastoma comes back then the earlier they catch it, the better they can treat it but its up to Mummy and Daddy how and where I get checked up but am not bothered because am going to have fun fun fun!!!!

I have lots of photo's to put online so Daddy is going to be busy over the weekend!

Love Emma
